So a mixed weekend for me, I NR'd on Saturday but there were some encouraging signs 36 shots up until the 8th where I took a 9 on our par 5, and then then a 5 on our 9th par 3 for a front 9 of 51, back 9 a very mixed bag, of bogeys, pars, doubles and snap hooks by the time the snap hooks arrived I was done in mentally - concentrating on a new swing is tough! So .1 back.
Sunday morning Rabbit's trophy (stableford) - 7 points after 2 holes and then 16 for the front 9 so pretty poor to be honest, only scoring another 9 on the other 7 holes, back 9 was consistent 4, 6, 6, 6, 6, 6, 6, 6, 4, but poor scoring so off with 101 shots and 30 points.
The afternoon, I played a bounce game with 2 mates, 98 (first time time breaking 100 hundred as a member!) but only 30 points again.
Feeling very positive the new swing after 1 week is feel comfortable, and while it may not be perfect I am definatly striking the ball better. Still leaving shots on the course though through poor driving, and poor course management.
But definate signs that I am getting better
