Immovable obstruction?

The geniuses at the belfry have decided to take away our 150 yard placks from the centre of the fairway and replaced them with a marker post on the side. These posts are substantial in size and cemented into the ground.
I know i get relief from these if it interferes with my swing or stance but today whist hacking out of the trees (as usual) the post was interfering/blocking the only shot i had out the trees. Is there any relief? I asked in the pro shop and they didn't even know they'd been swapped never mind give me a decision
 
That is why such posts should be constructed as movable.
All ours are in concrete sockets which are slightly slimmer that the hole. The problem with plaques is that they can't always be seen if the fairway undulates.
