Club champs today and went out in horrendous conditions. Torrential rain, especially on the back nine which was played totally in the wet. Course sodden, clubs sodden and not playing well and tempted to bail out at the 14th (adjacent to the 18th tee) but gritted it out. Just made the cut so early start tomorrow and better weather

The hooter went in our afternoon shotgun of the Gents Invitation after 7 holes played. Biblical rain fall that flash flooded the greens within minutes.

I love it when you're one of the first groups out in a comp and then it gets called off and you can be on the swig in the bar at 9am, acceptable.
