...and no, Tiger hasn't been texting me!!
Took the 5 wood out for the first time on Sunday afternoon, and things are looking good.
Hit one or two a little fat, and one quite thin, but I'm really thinking this club will certainly help me get around in less shots. Put two of the Callaway balls down on our par 5 11th, and both drives were around the same distance (one to the right as it came out of the two, and one straight down the middle) both arounf the 240\250 mark.
Thought as it was my last hole of the day to try and finish in style. Took the 5 wood to both balls and creamed one to the edge of the green, and the other about 15 yards short (our par 5's aren't too long, about 460tds). Stuck both on the green and two putted for two pars.
Hopefully it will be the start of something exciting!!
