I've only had 9 holes since deciding my health was good enough to play again and I'm already pulling clubs apart, tipping shafts, reshafting, etc. My wife thinks I'm nuts. I think she may have a point...

P.s. I'm still recovering from a smashed leg(new hip and a load of metal plates and screws) and I'm messing about with loft , lie length, grips etc. Ready for when I get back on course. So just go for it and enjoy. All part of the fun, in my eyes!

I put a steel shaft in my 3 wood and tipped it extra stiff (just for fun) and stuck it in the bag today. It was a strange round simply because my new clubs have not turned up yet meaning my bag was Driver, 3W, 3H, Hogan Blade 6 iron, 52*, 56* and putter. The three wood is a deep faced tee club for me and once I got used to it felt so solid through the ball. Shot 4 over for the nine.
Enjoy the fun of being back out and do whatever you need to scratch the itch, whether that's playing, practice, tinkering with gear or whatever
