Any of you stylish gents with IJP strides... How does IJP design come up on size?
Would really appreciate a comparison with Puma, Nike or even Gap on the waist sizing. I take a 34 (little loose but no where near a 32) in each of those.
Shirts I am medium in Nike, large in Lyle and Scott.

I have large thighs and calves (cyclist and lift weights) so if they are very narrow in the leg I'd appreciate feedback.

Only ever bought tops and they're a great fit, I'm slim and the XS is perfect. I'm a small in Lyle and Scott.

If you are a 34 in Nike then a 34 in IJP should be fine.

I'm a 36 (no sniggering) in Nike and IJP whereas I find adidas 36 to be a bit tighter although adidas 38 too baggy.

The IJP trousers and shorts are excellent and are my first choice when looking for new gear. Polos are superb as well

Coincidentally, I was wondering similar. I have a pair of Slang Trews, which I love, but even though I ordered my usual size (34 x 34) they are a bit snug across the hips and top of the thigh. I was thinking of buying a pair of Poulter trousers on sale. they don't have 34 waist but do have 36, wondering whether to give them a try or whether they would be too big.....?

The Tech Trousers are adjustable if it was them that you are looking at?

Yep, saw the shorts reduced and decided I need them more than trousers anyway with the summer approaching. The jumper I've been eyeing up for a while but didn't want to pay full whack for it, reduced now spring/summer range is out so happy days.

If anyone is looking for t shirts - I've had them before and they are very slim fit! They also do XS which is like a normal small in other brands like Adidas

I haven't found that on the numerous IJP polos I have??? I was say that IJP XL is on a par (excuse the pun) with adidas XL relaxed fit

Hi guys,
Update on the sizing.
I got the tape measure out, my waist is measuring 35" with the tape, and my chest is measuring 46" with the tape.
I ordered the 34" plaid shorts, and they fit lovely, very similar to my 34" puma trousers.
I also ordered the large merino wool v-neck jumper - its massive and will need to go back. This is a jumper that is supposed to be 42-44" chest, I measure in at 46" and it's too big.
Generous sizing for sure.
I'll either get the jumper in a medium, in which case I'll report back, or I may go for more of the shorts in a different colour.

Only IJP knitwear I have is a zipped cardigan from a year or so ago and fits fine. Pity about your jumper.

The shorts as you say are great, got a pair on now (heating is on)!
