Ignore function

I have recently "ignored" a certain person and was wondering what this actually does. Can i still see his post's? Can he still see mine? Can he reply to my posts?

You can still see the framework and name of the poster, it just doesn't have any content in it, the only problem is if someone quotes it you'll see it!

Yes on both counts. You just cant see their posts.

There is also, supposedly, a 'Show this Post' function to enable you to show an individual post from someone you have 'ignored' (where, for instance, you think they might hve replied to your post) but it does not work!
