We can all dream can't we.

It remains a dream for me considering I stopped buying my ticket several years ago!

Golf wise, what would be the first thing you would treat yourself too?
Would you go for top of the range everything? Would you update yor existing clubs with the same make because you're used to them?
Perhaps you would get yourself a membership at a totally exclusive golf course.

Money no object, what would you buy?
 
I'd phone ping or callaway.....tell them I'm visiting, and in the words of richard geere, inform them I'm planning on spending "obscene amounts of money".

I'd pop down to the wisley and book denis pugh for a day or two.

Then, book a days spa for the girls and a round for me at the top 20 courses around the country, and get someone to drive us there in my new audi 4.2 Q7. I'd also get a lamborghini murcielago lp640 delivered to the 18th tee after my last round.

then.....

I'd buy my course...off the owners! then rebuild it with the bunkers in the right place.....and have a new rule that staked/any/all trees can be removed in the event of a stymie.

The 10th and 11th would be re-designed to copy the 12th and 13th at augusta.
 
1. A house adjacent to a top course on some exotic Carribean island.

2. Custom fitted top of range set of clubs.

3. Lessons from a top pro.

Depending on how much we are talking I'd donate some money to Royal Ascot to make some planned course changes and maybe do some work on the clubhouse.

I'd go to one of the big boys (Callaway Mizuno, Ping etc) and test all the gear and get myself custom fitted.

I'd buy a property somewhere in Portugal on a golf course (for when the weather is a bit iffy).

After that I'd treat my wife and family to the usual (cars holiday etc) buy a new house (would only want something modest) and save the rest

Now where did I put that ticket?
 
I would hop on the next first class flight and spend a year travelling the world playing the best courses wherever I ended up then back home to research buying a house in the sun on a golf course.
 
It would need to be mega bucks as 10 mill would'nt even cover the first item.

Super Yacht - to travel the to all the best places in the world.

One or two new houses.

An education for the nipper.

Sort my folks out for the rest of their lifes, (probably the in-laws as well).

Get invited to join some swanky clubs around the world.

Custom set of Mizzys, and get some decent lessons.

Start up some massive tournament with the worlds best in a pro-am for charity.

Buy Planet Rock DAB radio station as it's for sale and is likely to go off air on March 28th.(If your're into your classic rock, Floyd, Marillion, Yes, etc you should check it out whilst you still can).

Start a few businesses.

Oh, nearly forgot and tell the boss to foxtrot oscar! Now that's priceless!

Would I be happy? Well it'd be nice to find out.
 
I think it would have to be a sleeve of 3 ProV1S as a tenner is all I have won and am likely to win.

We can but dream though!
 
1] Concentrated full-time lessons
2] The gear - make is immaterial as it will be optimised for me
3] The Tour - play a course in every country that has one, while searching for
4] The Beach - which has to be adjacent to a decent course; the objective being not to have to wear shoes other than on the course.
5] The kids - get them housed in strategic locations (daughter will be Australia, eldest South Africa if his partner has her way, No 2 son UK, probably)
6] Lifetime passes for The Open (and maybe The Masters - but get there at least once).
 
I would dedicate my life to golf and do what ever it takes to turn pro, Build courses, buy courses, driving ranges Big houses with putting greens etc. Obviously hire a top coach get me good. O and i would buy segways to get me around my big houses. (we use them in work, there so much fun)

First car would be the Ariel Atom, then the usual lambo's etc.

O and all this would be in dubai aswell. I love the place!

(I would play golf of the helipad on the side of the burj al arab like tiger)

Place on the palms for friends to use. I could sit here all day and go on.

(think it would have to be the euro millions rolled over a good few weeks to finance my plans)

Aye so I would. I would be off on the Formula 1 circuit trying a different model every night and after I had enogh i would then think about golf and mibeez some more wimin.
 
First I would get all the admin done:- Wedge up son,family etc and pay off Mortgage.

Probably no new house cos like location but would upgrade the gaff.
Now the good stuff, straight to the middle Algarve (Tavira/Olhau) and buy something there.
Probably also something near Quinta do Lago and spend time lapping San Lorenzo.
Herself would get another top Nag(already has one good one) and a top of the line horsebox.
I would get a newer version of my current car,I do love it.

Would spend the remaining years between now and 50 (not many) getting myself to the best I can with a view to trying to get on seniors european tour (yeah right).

Gonna get on the phone to Camelot now and tell them they have my official permission to pick my numbers tonight!!
