If you were a Pro and could choose your sponsors - who would they be ?

This topic came up in conversation on a recent round when we were talking about buying golf equipment/clothes etc and would we choose those manufacturers if money was no option

If you were a Pro and could choose any sponsorship deals, who would they be with for?

Clubs
Golf Clothing/Shoes
Off Course stuff (Watches, Cars, Hotel Groups etc)

Mine would be :

On Course : Nike Clubs and Clothes/Shoes
Off Course : Tag Watches, Paul Smith clothes, Audi, Virgin (for flights and holidays)

The one that asks me to do the least marketting for them. Sergia Garcia never seems to be away from TM marketing. I'd go Titleist all day long. A realistic car sponsor would be Audi for me. An S5 would be just the ticket.

Clothing- J. Lindeberg, Under Armour, Oscar Jacobson, Hugo Boss
Footwear- Adidas

Off course-
BMW, Lexus, Audi

And of course, Mastercard, should I wangle a pre approved, never pay back, unlimited card kinda deal!

So there you have it, if any of these guys fancy signing up a 9 handicap, 0 wins this season but 10+ twos sweep wins journeyman sort of player I am awaiting by the phone!

Haha fair enough. Get yourself on eBay. I picked up a mint condition 910D2 earlier this year on there for £35. Get some bargain Titleist in your bag mate!

I'd do something along the lines of what Ivan Lendl did his sponsors

Airline (Pan Am I think) for Travel - 1st Class seat for him (and his Golf Clubs!!)
Car (Hertz) Porsche, same as the one he owned!
Hotel (Hilton?) For consistent accommodation and access to Golf Courses

The rest is somewhat trivial, but I'd select a few of the less mainstream ones - Baume-Mercier for watch(es) for example. Clothing by something Italian - though English shoes!
