Do you add the two handicaps then half the shots?

If so, does that seem fair?

eg a 6 and a 24 handicapper = 30 shots x 50% = 12 shots.

The 6 h/capper could shoot the lights out if he played well, unless you insisted on using say 6 or 9 drives each.

Or should it be 25% or 10% of the shots?

I know when I have played it as a team of four it has been a total of all four handicaps, then 10% of that. Sometimes they insist on so many drives per player, also.

Last time i played in one we played 1/4 combined handicap for each pair with min of 6 drives each, dont think there is a "rule" as such though

Dont think Ive ever played it as a pair, teams of 3 and 4 only.

Just thinking something for a bit of fun.

Your right texas scrambles seem a bit loose on rules, and as you say have things like number of drives to be used etc.
