What would you carry?

Purely out of curiosity as I buy a few new pieces. Would you carry every club available? Or would you stick to around 14?

I currently have-
Driver
2 Hybrid
3 Hybrid
4-PW
54
60
Putter

13 clubs total.

I have just swapped out my 4 wood for a 2 hybrid and I am looking at a strong 3 wood which makes up my 14. I think the only add in I could think of if I had unlimited clubs would be a gap wedge but don't think I would.

What would you add in?

I carry 14 and i reckon thats probably too many giving too many options, I reckon it would be easier to carry 11.

driver
fairway
hybrid
5-9 iron
2 wedges
putter

I'm at 12 clubs just now and while there's another dozen or so in the house I cant think of any I'd want to add without taking something out as I'd just be doubling up on their functions

I don't think adding clubs helps most players. I use 14 but am considering going back to 13 by dropping the 60 degree. No desire to be able to carry 15 or 16.

Same for me I am considering dropping the lob wedge - certainly for non bounce rounds. For every glorious lob shot there are many more thins.

Home Course, could get away with 10 or 11, away courses always 14, just in case😃

I would carry more hybrids and maybe two drivers, one shorter with more loft. Basically a 3 wood with a 460 head.

I suppose you could make a bag up that fits every eventuality.

In the longer clubs you could have the low flying irons and high flying hybrids - for different amounts of roll, carry, into the wind or with wind behind.

With the wedges you could have more lofts and more bounce options for different ground conditions - wet, dry, bare, fluffy, deep rough, fairway. For bunkers: lots of sand, little sand, high lip, low lip etc

Different drivers like Lefty had at Augusta once - draw bias, fade bias and straight bias.

I know of people who considered 2 different putters at one time - belly for shorter putts and normal length for long range.

But I'd just get confused with all that and am happy to stick with 14 for now!

Currently I have 11.

Driver
Fairway
4 Hybrid
5 -PW
56° SW
Putter

Want to add a 60° Wedge, but if I'm honest I don't need one as my SW is never used for full shots (unless getting out of a bunker).

Over the last year or so I've switched about between 1 fairway + 3 wedges (4w, 52, 56, 60) and 2 fairways and 2 wedges (3w, 5w, 52, 58).

It would be nice to not have to decide between them.

I would carry more wedges, probably in 1 degree increments from 48 to 64 degrees so that I have the right club for every single yardage from 120 to greenside.

Don't want to be messing around having to be creative and using my imagination to manufacture shots
