If this is what I think it is..

its a 3d printer diy prototype from what i hear.
lay off TM this really is miles ahead of anyone

Is this........

"Hybrids: Taylormade Jetspeed #3
Irons: Taylormade RBZ 4-AW
Wedge: Taylormade ATV 54 & 60
Putter: Taylormade Monza Spider"

the reason that you think people should lay off TM?

EDIT - I have nothing against TM as I play the R9 irons but I don't feel the need to buy every one of their new releases.

you show me another company this forward thinking and they would be praised to high heaven.
what i play is irrelevant,i play with what works for me,frankly i find your reply pathetic anti TM rubbish which seems to be an epidemic on here.

It's not a release, it's not a club that you can/will buy, it's simply a few designers tripping out without any shackles.

Nice idea, but can't see how anybody can get upset about it.

.... just wait until delc see Hackgolforg then you'll have something to talk about ;)

You're absolutely right. I am so pathetic and anti TM that I choose to play with a set of their irons. I don't think that you've really thought that one through have you?

Well thought through, personally I think they are an innotive company, how can 3d printed driver not be considered innotive?
Yes they bring out drivers every 2 weeks, but looking at market share and tour presence I would say they are getting something right.

So what's going on there?

Is there a gyroscope or somesuch in the head that can tell if the club is coming in square? And if not the driver head flicks out the little sails to square the face so giving the perfect strike?

Are TM moving away from distance and looking at accuracy?

Interesting but if they ever did build it it would cost an absolute fortune, and would never be qualifying.

I think they are tiny outriggers to make sure the player is perfectly lined up.
TM are planning to release this club to coincide with R&A banning caddies from lining up their pro.

Before anyone gets up in arms about this - it was a project set for their designers with the brief 'if there were absolutely no restrictions, what could we build' …

It was started in 2006 and isn't intended for release, it's just an exercise in what could be possible with no limits.

Like car manufacturers making insanely beautiful prototypes that will never come to market.

This one may well come to market. TM have announced their intention to grow the game through non-conforming clubs. Don't think for a minute that they are selling out the integrity of golf in order to get more sales from rednecks who want to hit the ball further, oh no, they are doing it for the benefit of the game.
