Hi
I organise an annual golf competition over 3 days and this is always in a shorter ryder cup format (i.e. fourballs and then singles matchplay).
However, one person has just pulled out and now that there are uneven numbers I do not want one person from my team to be playing an uncompetitive round by themselves.
Accordingly, I am trying to work out if there is a fair way to for a single player to play against a two ball opposition in a matchplay format?
Any ideas?
