ideal framerate for slo-mo swing videos?

Managed to get myself a gorillapod, and am probably going to look at using my little Canon IXUS point-and-shoot for doing some swing recordings, then import into iMovie or summat and slow it down, but just wondering what frame rate is going to give me a decent look at it?

I don't know what the framerate is yet (going to find that out when I get home), but just wondering whether it's going to be able to cope.

I find the 120fps on the casio I have is perfect, that way you get plenty of increments on the swing and can flick through it frame by frame quick enough and see clearly what you need.

I thought the iPhone was about 30fps, and I don't think it's fast enough from what I've seen of recording my swing. Top of backswing to impact is only about 3 or 4 frames.

Maybe I've got the iPhone frame rate wrong?

Standard video is, but if you get the golf swing software available for the iPhone, the slo mo is alot better. I'll get you the name of it when I get a second.
