after deciding i wanted some new mp57's I have just one a bid for a brand new set still in the box for £300+ £20 postage! I thinks thats a bargain! I'll let you know if they turn up!!

I've tried them out with project x 5.5 shafts but i wasn't keen on how thick the shaft felt in my hands so luckily these are same DG R300 i currently have in my mp30's. I've always toyed with upgrading to S300 but my swing has never been fast as i try to concentrate on rythem.

I'll keep you posted

I previously played with s300's, but when I was c/f'ed, I could play with R's or S's, but the R300's gave me better contact. I don't think you will be diappointed with the shafts. I think you have got a good deal.

Were these off e-bay or from an online store.

I can't imagine Ali (Ascot pro) being able to do such a deal.
no your right there! Just need the course to dry up so i can try them out!

eBay seems to be pretty slow just now. Credit crunch?
I picked up a used Cobra LD/M Speed 5 wood yesterday for £30. Like you, I tracked it to the last minute as I did not want to get in a bidding contest.

I was lucky enough to play the oxfordshire on sat. Beautiful course and surprisingly forgiving when theres no wind, which is very rare! The greens had been spiked but were still running fast. Its also nice to play par 3's where you can go for the pin instead of hitting 3 wood or long irons! That said the long par 3's at ascot have really improved my long game and its not something you notice until you visit a different course.
