Hi
Went to update the I pad which hasn't been done for quite a few updates, so I appreciate it would take a long time.
For some 8 hrs now it seems locked . Got the I tunes logo in middle of screen with a white illustration of the lightning charge cable running up from bottom of screen
( hope I describe that well enough)
Nothing is moving on the screen. No progress bar or anything.
So, is anything happening or do I switch off and try to switch on?
Any expert please?

it means you need to connect it to your computer.

it may be the update has failed or corrupted and the whole iPad needs to be reset….and then you may be able to restore a backup on to it

Sorry, I can't help you with your IPad. I thought that I'd take this opportunity to ask for help with my computer. It has power but the screen is black. Hoping it's not the mother board.

Things that I've tried:

Checked the power cord
removed the ram
Checked the monitor
Held the power button for two minutes

Any help would be appreciated.
