You can buy single or double 13 amp socket that has USB charging outputs so just need to renew one of your old house sockets . A double costs £12 from Screwfix, then all you need is your existing USB charging lead.

But double check with the experts.

Does the ipad work with a charger that isn't genuine apple?? I don't know about the ipad but I think the iphone 5 and onwards have built in circuits to stop unauthorised chargers being used

I get all mine from poundland. They work fine !

take it back to the apple shop. I took mine back after 8 months and they replaced it without question for free

She's bought one from Currys for 15 quid

I bought a new charger for my MacBook off Amazon and it has been good. Cost £17, the Apple Shop wanted £75.
