Playing the 4th at Wallasey tonight and from a severely raised tee on the par 5, went down the 17th fairway instead of my own [ball didn't fade as normal].

Now the hang time on this shot is minutes, for those that haven't played it, luckily finished 50 yards past him, so no damage done.

He wasn't a happy bunny.........

Birdied it though. :)

Given that he is a pro, instead of shouting fore, you should have just stuck your arm out sideways, just like they do. See how they like it up em!

Did you go over and speak to him? :D

I'd have thought he'd have just blamed his caddy for letting it happen - it's always Ted's fault!

Ha, ha - I think he shouted "We're still playing here - not good guys" iirc.

By the time we got down onto the fairway (the tee is up on high) him and his entourage had moved up near their own green. Don't forget we hadn't had Junior's pre-shot routine, also.

There are no signs saying not to tee off when anyone is on the 17 th is playing, and wouldn't expect there to be, so I was ok to go. Hit the dreaded straight one didn't I.

Our shout of fore was a 10/10, all in unison, tops of our voice. We were like a male voice choir.
No rednecks were harmed in the filming of this sequence, but a birdie was holed. Yeehar!

We let some Americans play through later on and told them - they all said he's a "putz" and various other derogatory words. We said how do you know, they all worked for ESPN, so knew him close up.

Gutted, I really like Bubba but that's weak!!!... He did not need to say anything.... Four is Four, we all have to call it sometime...

I never really liked him after all his nonsense about the food and other things at the French open.......seems to be one of these guys that thinks America is the best and only country in the world.

I have warmed to him a little more after the second masters win, think adopting the child may have helped. I seen a thing where he went into a shop in Cali the other wk and was challenging the guys to driving and putting contests seemed like a fun guy. Yet this incident has him back up the tw@t-o-meter.

Pretty cool he was playing though, would have been nicer if he shared a few words..........seen anyone else?

Bill Haas and George McNeil also played Wallasey, Sunday I think, last night was Bubbas second outing

Did you know it was him when you was teeing off or did you only realise when you got down to the fairways.
Picturing it, it sounds like you'd have to make the walk of shame right past him on the wrong fairway

To be fair mate I don't think Ive ever seen you hit anything other than your Usual fade off the tee.

Imagine if you'd hit him, that would of been some claim to fame  I reckon you would of made the back pages and 100 pages on here. I can see it now.. LB sparks out Blubba with his only straight shot of the year
