I get the feeling it's not meant to be!!!

Hi all,
It's been awhile so thought I'd just let you all know that I'm still around.
After a 5 month break from this game we all love so dearly, I have spent the last few weeks getting ready to start playing again (range practice etc.) and getting myself fitter for the summers play.
My husband unfortunately broke his right arm 3 weeks ago in a bike accident so I started rounding up playing partners for the next month or so but it's just not meant to be, last night while playing badminton with the girls from work I fell and fractured my left ankle.
So I think I shall be spending the next couple of months dreaming about the course and my golf clubs will gather yet more dust.
So between hubby and I we are screwed, maybe between us we could drive the car

So happy golfing all and think of me when you are out there going for that chip in or the long putt.

Though I shall be keeping an eye on the forum, it looks like it's been a very interesting and busy place lately

I hope that you and your husband get better soon, look at it another way you will be able to spend more time on it here

What can I say?????? At least when you do get fit again you'll catch the best of the weather. Hope you're not in too much pain and at least its good to know you are still around

Thanks Guys,
At least I'll have plenty of time on my hands to catch up on some reading for my uni course and keeping up to date with the forum.
The pain at the moment isn't too bad (dosed up on painkillers) but the cast is only a temporary one so is really heavy, will hopefully get a lighter one next week.

fingers crossed the summer will hang around long enough for me to get out on the course
