Since I have been on here every other week moaning about me old SLDR which is now sold. The Ping G30 has given me a new lease of life. So much so a "score" is just around the corner.
played in a nine hole Stableford last week and was on 18 points on the ninth tee came off with a seven having took five shots to get down from 20 yd. Now I had two triple bogeys In that round an wasn't dropped heyho.
back nine last week 19 points. Coulda been a lot more and just played 18 hole medal an gone round in nett75 with a couple of triples.
But and its a massive but. It's strange but stood on the tees I feel massively confident now. Hitting your drive 50 plus yd further down the middle kinda does that to you, hitting seven and eight irons into greens instead of fairway woods and hybrids is odd. A bit more focus on the short game and Tashyboy is back in the house.
anyone else feel that round is just around the corner.

Yep been hitting it pretty well, putting improving all the time. Had two bad rounds in our club championship, but putting that down to how tough the course was setup.

The sad thing for me is im playing probably as steady as ive played in years, more buffers/cuts than 0.1's but feel like im striking the ball like a numpty.
