Something to do with your oponent having started the round with too may clubs, I think, but I can't work it out.

I thought I posted an answer to this but it doesn't appear to be here!
So here we go!
MY opponent started the round with more than 14 clubs in his bag which carries a penalty of one hole for every hole played up to a maximum of 4 holes in matchplay!
So if I win the first 4 holes aswell! I become 8 up after 4! winning the next 4 results in a 12 and 10 win!

Don't agree with your reasoning here. I assume we are talking about Rule 4-4 here ?
I thought it was a maximum of two holes in matchplay ?
It is a maximum of four shots in a strokeplay event is it not ?
Jollyheid you are talking out your arse,I suggest you go and read the rules and offer your opponent a rematch....

I'm with DCB on this re rule 4-4. Time to go back and mug up on the rules before offering a rematch I think. If I was your opponent I'd be onto the tournament committee
