I am looking to join a new club next season ... Can you help?

Hi folks,

I currently play at Dalziel Park GC in Lanarkshire and am looking to move on next season. I am looking to pay 2-300 joining and 4-500 in green fees and play off 10. I would ideally like to be within 30 minutes drive so if you can think of anywhere please let me know !!!!!!!!!!!

Of all the clubs I have played in the area, The one I would recommend is Lanark. Although I think there may be a waiting list. Long and testing. I think they may have regional qualifying on it for the Open.

Have you played The Westerwood nr. Cumbernauld? Testing and hilly, there's lots of water and nice views, greens are always in gd nick but can be windy as it's quite exposed. Not sure how much of a club feel it will have though as it's attached to a hotel (currently being renovated so entrances etc are all over the place) and the bar food is pricey, though top class.
