Anyway, at tonights auction there was a 1989 Daimler Sovereign, 3.6 Auto, Totally loaded and with a GENUINE 20,000 Miles.

This is porn to me, simply the stuff of dreams.

Anyway, it sold for £550.

The sickener, I wasnt there tonight and just found out off a mate.

I am devastated TBH as this was a genuine once in a lifetime opportunity.

I rang my man at the auction house (the director) and it was bought by a man who was going to do what I was.

Basically polish it everyday, love it, cherish it, wrap it in cotton wool and generally get all emotional and ridiculous over it.

Im not joking when I say that I am totally gutted.

If I were to sell that car, it would be £10,000 all day long and basically, a philistine who has no idea what it is worth has lobbed it in the auction and the only guy there with a clue what it is has bought it.

Its an auction not many dealers have wised up to mate and to be honest, If I was buyong stock, I wouldnt buy something 20 years old.
