Played at the crack of dawn today (Off at 7.30). Didn't feel like it to be honest. One of those few days where I could have easily stayed in bed. Glad I didn't though
Shot my first ever single figure handicap over 18 holes!!
+6 for the front 9
+2 (Yep you read it right), +2 for the back 9. I was level for the back nine until the 16th where I under hit a putt for par to inches, then bogied the following hole before parring the 18th.
Scorecard reads 9 pars, 7 bogies, 1 double and 1 birdie. I had plenty of birdie putts but they were all from 15ft-20ft. Left plenty close but not many dropped.
All in all one happy golfer. I had the chance to shoot single figures early January and ended up shooting 11 over
so to finally get the monkey off my back and shoot to single figures feels pretty good.
