What a great watch this was!
For me it had everything. Fantastic course, stunning views, wide open fairways and super long. Some really great TV coverage from SKY with all angles and almost every shot seen from the best viewpoint. And the super slow motion too!
Now the players: well what about Graham McDowell, a fantastic last round 62 with birdie after birdie.
From Bubba Watsons Eagle at the 18th in the 1st round to Jason Days 106yd drive on the 13th! The way he accepted it and just goes to show it's not just us mere mortals that mess it up sometimes!
Robert Garrigus, the power hitter, where did he come from, and that mini putter?
The putting ability of Carl Petersson with his broomhandle putter.
Last but not least Jonathon Byrd, what a solid player. I bet Tommo loves him, having that Hoganesque swing - so effortless. Fair play to him for keeping it all together and looking so calm and collected.
I have to say it's probably one of the best Golf Tournaments
I've seen and certainly the most enjoyable.
