Hyper flex & boa fitting

Has anyone had experience wth the fitting on the boa hyper flex. I had boa before and noticed they come up almost a size to big in the sports, IE 9 in boa and 10 in standard

Also how are people finding the hyper flex fit in general

I've just bought a pair of boa hyperflex, only worn them for a couple of rounds now but they are one of the comfiest golf shoes I've tried. I bought the same size I would normally and wouldn't of said they were any bigger than any other shoe.

Agree with the above, I have a pair with BOA and just got my usual size.

Have BOA in FJ and they are no different on sizing from normal shoes

The normal hyperflex for me come up at least half to one size bigger.

Ditto to Paul on the normal Hyperflex, normally a 9 but got 8.5 in Hyperflex. Could probably get away with an 8. DNA's are the same. Fancy a pair of the new white and blue ones and when tried on the 9 was huge, that was with the BOA lacing on the DNA.

Have the normal Hyperflex and went down a size in them. A bit nippy to start but fit perfect now.

Got a mashed up wonky toe from motocross so will probably end up only half down at most, just hate sloppy shoes and the sport boa in a 10 regular were at least a size too big.


It grinds me that as well as clothes varying so much in fit, we now have the issue with shoes as well

I've got a couple of pairs of Boa's and they are the same size as my other FJ's. No problem at all with sizing mate.
I love the Boa system. Adds a couple of ounces to the weight but not really an issue unless they are a heavy pair of clompers anyway.

Its just a bit odd with FJ Baz, got Hydrolites and AWD Casuals and both are spot on size-wise. Just the Hyperflex and DNA that seem to be a tad bigger from all the ones I tried.

I dont think its specific to the Boa lacing that they are bigger just the model of shoe.

Don't see why they can't just make shoes a standard size with either a regular or s wide fit job done!

Which size is standard though ? The adidas size or the FJ size - it's the same with lots of clothes , some are medium when other makes have them large. Would be so much easier if all the same size standard but model make it a hard job to be that
