Hybrids are easy to hit, really?

So, I rarely hit really bad shot's, typical mid handicapper stuff really.
The odd misplaced drive, duffed chip or slightly off line shot, but generally pretty straight with all clubs except hybrids.
I just can't hit them.

If I am lucky, it's a lowish draw, more often than not it is a low hook.
I have tried everything, ball position, stance width, shaft lean, no shaft lean. I have tried 3x different makes & style of hybrid as well, makes little difference
I am hitting down, exactly as I play my Irons.
Today, I replaced my 3 hybrid with a 5 wood, what a difference, lovely ball flight, long & straight.
I did hit my 4 hybrid a couple of times pre round, & one thing I did notice was that the only way to stop it hooking, was to raise the toe off the ground a little at address.
Something to work on at the range over the winter.
Really frustrating though.

Actually Bob I do, or think I do.
I usually take a divot after the ball with all my clubs, inc my 3 & 5 woods.
Ok, I am steeper to the ball with my irons, but that is to be expected.

Do you have the ball in the same position for irons/hybrid/woods?

I play up to a 6 iron from the middle.
I play a 5 Iron 1x ball width forward of middle.
I play a hybrid from in similar place to the 5 iron
I play the 5 wood mid way between middle & left foot
I play the 3 wood 1x ball width forward of where I play the 5 wood

That's what a lot of people say.
So why can't I hit them?

see a pro, asking on here will get lots of different answers that cannot be accurate without seeing your repeated swing from different angles. If everything else is ok a pro will get you back on track.

Unless the shaft is completely and utterly unsuitable......

What shafts are in these clubs - and don't just say stiff/regular

Not sure what you mean regarding shafts?
I don't know how to describe them other than the make & model of club & stiffness rating.
I have tried.

Callaway Diablo Edge 3 & 4

Ping G15 3 & 4

Adams Super S 3 & 4

All had stock manufacturer regular shafts.
