hybrid/irons

am i right in thinking that a 5 iron SHOULD go the same distance as a 5 Hybrid?
to be honest, im not sure on my club distances EXACTLY, but i seem to hit the hybrid further, just wondering.........
use the Burner Rescues and get a high flight from the club

In my case they go the same distance (approx) the 5h has 2 degrees more loft but it has a longer shaft. Main difference though is I hit the hybrid sweet much more often.

Bit low mate. I'm sure there's only one convert to the chipper on here,unless it has been binned for him.
