So its payday tomorrow and i am looking to put a hybrid in the bag , i like the look of a cobra one simply because i play cobra irons and driver , silly excuse i know . But i also like the look of the 2013 nike vrs covet hybrid but a bloke i work with says dont bother with nike stuff ? , dont know why , anyways if i am to but a hybrid what have you found are the easiest ones to strike i.e a 3/4 also are there many out their that are draw biased

cheers in advance

Callaway X Hot. It's a howitzer. Point, aim, boom! Great from sat down lies too. I also use mine as a chipper. Favourite club in the bag at the moment.

Lots of good hybrids out there

X Hot , RBZ stage 2 from last year

913 is good as is the G25

Adams is great

But the new X Hot 2 goes like the clappers and it's that easy it's nearly cheating :D

Had a 2i Cleveland Hi Launch and it was easy to hit from tee, fairway and rough alike. It was very long and had a bit of an offset head. I've kept it but I've now got a Titleist 910 3i hybrid and really like it - plain head, nice shape and sits nicely behind the ball. It's an adjustable head but since trying it out through the pro I've not touched it.

I use to have a Cobra Baffler hybrid and it was really good and easy to hit. If Cobra is your first choice I'd go along to a range or pro sho and try it out first. If you like it then happy days. If not, you can try a few more. There are loads of good ones although I'd say the G25 is as easy to hit as they come but everyone is different. Each to their own

That looks interesting , ag have done me a price match on a nike vrs covert 2013 model for 63 quid and im very tempted by it

My friend bought the cobra amp to match his irons and he cannot get on with it and he is a very good ball striker. I had a few hits with it and I also didn't like it either so make sure you try before you buy.

As for Nike it's a bit like TM, people either love their equipment or hate it. I'm a big fan of their clubs having owned the several of the VR Pro range which are superb quality, better than most however like Titleist some of their equipment is geared for the better player.

Can't knock TM or Callaway so my advice would be try before you buy as your hybrids will very likely be your go to clubs so make sure you like them before buying

had a ping g15 for a while which was impressively easy to handle - the g20 was a similar shape. easier to get out of the rough than my 913H. like the 913 a lot now i've got used to the shape and feel. g15 was more iron-like. 913 is more like a little wood.
