Hull Fans Bus Attacked!

It never went away!! Granted it's not as bad now as it used to be thanks to CCTV. But it's always been going on.

I'm aware of that, it still doers go on but those that get involved arrange 'meets' away from the grounds so thankfully we don't see pitch invasions and 'ends' being taken, but, to have a coach bricked is pretty damming!

I've just found that their was a couple of police bikes at the front stopping traffic at junctions and 1 police car at the front for the convoy to follow but NO police at the rear so the last coach was 'picked off' and they took them through an estate apparently!

It still goes on before and after games just doesn't happen at the games

Reading the bit in the article about a few of them piling off to confront the brick throwers makes me think this wasn't one of the 'official' travel coaches. I may be wrong but having been to Liverpool/Everton as an away fan many times Ive never once felt in the least bit threatened.

I think its irrelevant if it was an official coach or not, all the coaches and mini buses are parked together and get escorted out, this one was at the end of the convoy just by chance, the coach had to stop as it couldn't continue with partial windows smashed, including the drivers so they had to send another coach to pick them all up!

30+ yrs ago everywhere was manic.

I certainly hope these thugs get caught but i very much doubt they will be match going reds who have been involved.

Assume wrong - I hope they catch the guy and he is rightly punished.

Is it that the attacker was a fan who had been to the game or just a scally full of ale who happened to be in the pub after the game?

I wouldn't know who the attacker was or if he was at the game or not - regardless of his connection I just hope the guy is caught and punished for his actions.

But don't judge everyone based on the actions of the one
