Huddersfield promoted

Watched it Richard and thought it was a dreadful game. Both sides terrified of making a mistake and then Reading totally blowing the penalties from a strong advantage.

Not the best afternoon I've had but felt Huddersfield were the better team in the 90 minutes.

To me Reading lacked conviction and the belief that they could do it.

I must admit to having a lump in my throat and welling up when that last pen went in.

And how how very touching that the two teams in the final were supported by our two forum stalwarts/H4H stars and friends, RickG and Richart.

echo this, can just see Rick grinning from ear to ear . miss that bloke

Cannot really speak for Reading but some of the football that Huddersfield played earlier this year would sit comfortable mid table in the prem. When they lost form in the later half of the season that was relegation form.
chuffed the new manager has them playing football. They need to buy wisely. If Aaron Mooy wants to play reg prem football he needs to stay at Huddersfield and not come back to City.

Agreed, would've been happy for either of the guys to be smiling, hopefully Reading can make it next year.

Yup, wouldnt normally make a bee-line to watch, but stayed at the clubhouse at Lancaster to see the 90 out, listened to the ET and pens afterwards on the way home, and had a thought and a smile for Rick.

Gutted for Richart though, still havent been the Madstad yet, but also nice to see to see a NW team back up, especially one missing for so long as well.

Tighter than a knat's chuff at the end. Happy to see a new name in the Premier League. Only disappointment in Reading not making it is a close away game has gone. :D

Great for Huddersfield and certainly a fitting result for our dear departed friend

Very made up for Huddersfield. Always good to see an underdog make it!

whats crazy is that they got promoted with a -2 goal difference, didn't win a match in 90 minutes in the playoffs & didn't even score a goal in the playoffs!
