Im going to disagree viscount,sorry :D inexperienced golfers are time out of number poor golfers, if thats the case then hard golf balls are for them, less spin and more forgiving on side spin shots (slices generally)
If I saw a 28 handicapper playing a pinnacle gold, id not be recommending any other ball until they started getting their handicap down, I really doubt a better ball would improve their scores alone. learning to hit a ball cleanly and short iron play would need honing first before trying to teach them how to hit a softer more difficult ball to control.
I have a practice bag full of all sorts and none of them feel anywhere as nice to hit as the maxfli revolutions (discontinued old soft ball) professionals, prov1's and hx tours. The rest were ll just as bad as each other where stopping on greens are concerned.
