What's happening to this website. :D I rely on it to get results of comps as I dont live that close to the club.

Recently scores that have been published to the website aren't coming online until up to a week later.

It used to work really efficiently - scores coming up merely minutes after clubs published them to the website.

This has been going on for a couple of weeks now.

Anyone know what's happening? Is this happening with your clubs scores?

It may well be down to your own club actually. We had a similar problem last year until someone sorted out a firewall problem.

At the moment our results are going up just after thall the scores are collated etc. so no probs with the website.

Our results were up on Saturday evening for the first round of the club championships although the captain did say on Sunday that they were having a few problems with the PC so not sure if that was connected to howdidido. There have been times lately when results haven't appeared for a few days and being close enough to get to the club easily I normally wander up one eveneing and check the board and results folder (normally only when I think I'm in contention!)

Junior medal i played in on Sunday is still not up. I'm unsure at what end the problem lies though.

To say the Club2000 software is "a bit cack" would be not going far enough IMHO. The whole program is riddled with bugs and very basic programming faults so I am never surprised if problems arise and I have seen delays of a few days when publishing our results.
That said there are a number of things that can go wrong at the golf club end too. The web publishing is triggered by printing off the competition results but the user can say "no" and as previously stated a firewall program such as zonealarm will prompt to allow internet access - again the user could press "no".
I'd just take it up with your committee and if they are confident they are operating the software properly get them to ring the Club2000 support (which is very good).

Ours usually takes a couple of days. Not sure if it's howdidido or if that's how long the comps organiser takes to hit the 'send' button Probably the latter I'd expect

Working today ok, resent scores data and it came up online almost immediately. :)

Apparently Mondays are the worst day as everyone sends in scores. Their servers don't seem able to cope when busy.
