Funny .....(well I thought so)

I can do that! ;)

nb: Kaymer is just one of a few Tour players who likes to hit a pull-fade as a stock shot (clubface closed and ball starts left of 'square''). The other 99% hit a push-fade.

In defence of Kaymer he was only demonstrating the shot shapes, not necessarily aiming at a particular point (fairway) and, of course, may not have hit the actual shot he wanted to.
As far as demonstrating the shapes - however extreme - he did.

"I'm going to back out here and let you do the teaching"... and then keep interrupting you at various junctures, to spout a load of nonsense and try to pretend like i know what I'm talking about.

I can't take anyone who wears trousers that look like they've left a pair of their wife's red knickers in the white wash! :D

could they not be called a slice and hook ? is there not too much of these components to call them fades and draws?

Are you saying that 99% of tour players hit a push-fade as a stock shot?

I really like looking at the pro-tracer shots, really does give you an understanding of the different shot shapes (whether they are labelled incorrectly or not)

Yeh, if you didn't see the pro-tracer on Kaymers shots you'd be saying..

"Wow what a swing that looked great, I'll teach that to someone and pass on my great knowledge!".....

not quite the same when he hits the wrong fairway twice

@Alex1975: 99% of pros will play a push-fade when they need to fade the ball as their 'stock' fade shot. There are a chosen few who don't, I'm sure I could dig up a couple that don't.

@Garyinderry: It's a push-draw, starts to the right and returns to the target line.

does a push fade mean it starts off way left , then comes back to the target line. are these shots now hard to control.

Reckon I'll wait til I've bagged a Major before I pass comment on Martin (top 5 in the world) Kaymer.

Anyway, how can he be expected to perform at his best while that dobber is spouting a load of pish beside him wearing candyfloss trousers - what a tit!

Push fade starts right of your toe/target line and goes a little more right - see the first shot here....

Basically you aim a little left (to compensate), then hit it a bit right...

Later in the video Nick Faldo (2min 16sec) hits a pull-fade, it starts left of his toe/target line and then 'fades' to the right a little.

Cheers......just sprayed coffee over my keyboard

Agree with this, i'll wait until i've won at least2 majors until i'll pass comment, Kaymer seems a nice guy.

You chop around off 16 and couldn't possibly comment on a 50yrd slice or a hook yet hand out advice in the 'experts section' like you're Butch Harmon!

And you wonder why some get bored with reading your posts.......?

wow you've done your research well done!

yes when i post in the ask the experts section, i do mention i am a 16 handicap, as in the one post you've quoted, or i use advise that has be given to me from a quailifed pro that has helped me improve my game for real on the course so i know it works,
people can take it or leave it, im actually trying to with help other with my own experiences, what's wrong with that?!

i'm not criticising a guy who's won a major or any other PGA pro's who may or may not sell mars bars :D

And you wonder why some get bored with reading your posts.......?

I don't wonder at all Imurg, I just think it's funny the amount of people that are so quick to criticise yet never look at themselves and what they've posted.... maybe it's cabin fever.... maybe not.

I have an appetite for knowledge... and I'm seriously NOT going to apologise for that.

ps its easy to hide behind a forum, if anyone wants to criticse my golfing game i'm happy to play for real "chopping around" off 16
