Hi guys, just purchased a covert driver of another forum member I'm just wondering with all the different settings on drivers these days how do people find the one which suits them best?? I understand some people do tw when testing out drivers but as I can't do this I'm wondering do people book in with there pro and use trackman etc or just hit the range and change it then settle on what feels best for them?? If people have used the pro is it just charged at a normally lesson price??
Thanks

Go and hit a few balls on the range or on the course. If the balls go straight and with the right sort of trajectory, leave it alone!

Just head down the range get a few buckets of balls and have a bash. Change the setting every 5 or 10 balls and see what works out for you. I did this when i got mine and ended up just leaving it on the neutral setting as it worked best.

The simple and rather boring answer is to take it to a pro hit some balls and let him set it up for you.

Then leave it alone

What's the point in having an adjustable driver if he has to leave it alone

Is a better question.. Find a driver that works then hit it long. If you keep blaming the driver then you'll never get better...;)

Correct Dan, I knew playing golf with me you'd learn:blah::whoo:

IIRC, I didn't get to play much golf with you though mate. 8 holes and I was medically discharged. The Doc diagnosed torn elbow ligaments and a perforated right eardrum from your constant yammering...;)
