How to Impose Yourself on the 1st Tee! (Spoiler?)

1st hole at Memorial. 473 yards.

Bubba flies the bunkers (310 to fly) by a huge distance and, at 363, is over 30 yards longer than the previous longest - any hole!

Shame about missing the green when 93 yards to the pin! But birdies it anyway!

Could be a fun round! I can see his FC, Scott Langley, falling apart!

If he imposed himself with a 363yd drive on our first he'd be playing his second from the 6yd box of one of Ascot United's football pitches :D

I used to coach a guy who had dreadful first tee nerves.
All the club members knew this and he was reaching desperation point.
He asked my advice and I told him. 'Next time you walk onto the first tee just imagine that you own the course.Take your time and slowly look around you. All the golfers playing are only there by your invitation, all the staff are your minions and you are mega rich'.

The following Saturday I saw him walk onto the tee and follow my instructions too a tee, he looked a totally different person. I could barely bring myself to watch the outcome.

He addressed the ball, took a slow and deliberate swing and..................

Looking through the small crack in my hand covered eyes, he striped one 230 yards straight down the middle
