How to Clean Motocaddy Cool Bag

I have just bought a second hand Motocaddy S1 Lite trolley. Really pleased with it but the inside of the cool bag is a bit "marked". I have tried sponging it down but it has not made much of a difference. Is it just a washing machine job or do people have other recommendations? Would soda crystals do the trick better than washing powder?

(I appreciate mumsnet may give better answers to this but it is still golf related)

I binned mine had similar issue and only tried once after using in a bit of damp the thing was caked in mud so it's now sat in the shed.

I took mine off as it kept getting too muddy, but as I have just sold mine, I stuck it in the washing machine and it came up like new inside & out

It's a crap design and the clip snapped on mine within the first few months of owning it. Mine is in the bin on the 11th.

A resounding thumbs down then for what seems a good idea in dry weather and climate but clearly rubbish in the wet and mud of the UK. I'll shove it in the washing machine and see how it gets on. Perhaps one to leave on or take off depending on the weather.
