How to avoid gastro bug?

So in my house this week....

Monday - 5yr old daughter sick everywhere
Wednesday - baby daughter sick everywhere
Friday- wife sick everywhere
Saturday - 3yr of son sick everywhere

I m the last man standing and I don't get paid for being off sick! I have been washing my hands more often than an OCD sufferer, anything else I can do? Or do I just wait for the inevitable belly rumbles?

I always have one of those anti-bac hand gel/wash rub thingies and use that as well. Try to avoid handling anything the sick ones have and hope for the best.

Hand gel, no kissing kids or wife ( well that's the excuse I been using for the last 12 months ) and get outside in the fresh air as much as poss .

Dettol and a wire brush... at the first sign of the rumbling tum, scrub your bits with said Dettol and a wire brush. I promise you you'll soon forget all your troubles.

use seperate towels

drink lots of whiskey, purely for medicinal purposes, the bugs wont stand a chance

Had the norovirus about 10 days ago. Second time this winter but working in a hospital it to a certain degree goes with the territory. We have to be meticulous about hand hygene and so have hand gel with me all the time.

You are right, after posting yesterday morning, took my daughter to swimming lessons, nearly passed out pool side, struggled home and spent the rest of the day in bed. Feeling ropey this morning, but going to work, need to get my strength back for Friday!
