So I'm on my holidays and due to me being broke I did not go anywhere so I just played golf every day. I have played 18 holes 10 days in a row plus 2 range sessions and a couple hours on the chipping and putting greens. (starting to really improve)
But today I am just exhausted was playing wellish but could hardly stand.

So does any body have a limit to the amount of back to back days they can hack playing before they run out of steam?
or am I just unfit? :D

You might be a tad unfit but I do think you are probably over golfed. I try not to play more than three days in a row and if I do want to do more will have a session of the practice ground or working on my short game instead of another 18

I could easily play a round a day and would love to be able to. I definitely wouldn't carry everyday though if I was playing more than 4 times a week

that was certainly a factor tried routing out my old trolley but it was broken so have been lugging it around

Don't think the pros even play full rounds every day. More broken down into specific work on a particular area of their game.

10 days in a row and I'd be thinking a bit burnt out and losing appetite

Hard to say. I was lucky to be given the chance to play for 6 months at a top course once for half the yearly subs. (no joining fee etc., that was £2,000) It was a provisional/probationary period as I was new to the area, did not know anybody to recommend me and was already playing half decent golf after about 2 years. I think they thought I might be a good team member for the summer comps. :)
I played every day, but often not 18 holes. I did however always hit 50-100 balls on the range and spend 2-3 hours chipping and putting.
18 holes worth of shots is not that many balls, but 3 hours of walking, shots and mental thought is quite a long time.
I got exhausted (not that I was fit by any means) and in the end spent more time practicing than playing. More return for less effort.

I agree with Homer...you are probably golfed out. You'll bounce back. :)

played 7 rounds in 14 days recently, enjoyed it, but i was glad to get back down to my normal 2 round per week. they were all comps too, which i find can be a little wearing - better mixing it up with some friendly games.

Sounds like a fantastic holiday to me!!!

Personally would be burnt out but if I could, I would! Reckon if you take a little break before you're next round you'll pick up where you left off and go on improving even more so. Fair play to ya.
