So after purchasing a fair few items over the last 6 months, it has come to my attention that I have spent a fair bit on my current clubs!

As I love polls and have done a fair few good ones in the past (if I say so myself), thought it would be interesting to see how much everybody's Current gear is worth. Obviously people pay different prices so just go with what you paid for it.

Nike Vapor Driver - £299
SLDR 3 Wood - £149
Adams PRO hybrid - £127
Pro Combo irons - £399
Vokey Wedge - £79
RAC Wedge- £69
Versa 7 Putter - £99

Total = £1,221

Pretty astonishing really when you price it all up..... Time for some insurance

Not sure I should do this, but here goes...

Driver: Titleist 915 - £319
Fw: Titleist 915 - £189
Hy: Titleist 915 - £189
Irons: mph4 3i - £99
Mp64 4-pw - £399
Wedges: mpt11 - £100
Putter: Scotty Golo - £249

£1544

Plus a ton for the bag and £230 for the laser.

And that's just the current bag and doesn't account for all the stuff I've bought and then moved on over the last year.

Yowzer.

Pretty crazy when you consider bags and range finders and ball and gloves.....

I didnt want to give people palpitations so i left "accessories" out... :D

Well under £499 for the bag & whats in it at the moment (although the value when the items launched would possibly triple the bill)

There's a right time to buy replacement/new clubs

Driver - free. Shaft £100
3 wood. - free. Swap with my mate for a hybrid
5 wood - £50
Hybrids £ 40 & 35
Irons - £150
Wedges £110 x 2
Putter -£ 80

£199 for the set
£40 trolley
£10 glove
£3 tees
£50-60 balls (in total not a single dozen)
£45 shoes
£50-80 clothes
£0 Footjoy ball markers (won them in a twitter competition- Thanks FJ!)

£437

I'm a bargain hunter and really only this year, I have bought clubs which haven't been used.

Driver £55
Fairway Wood £90
Hybrid £80
Irons £150 (9 years ago)
Wedges £165
Putter £60

Grand Total = £600

Pretty good I think

Based my figure on club setup as per the poll....rather than total cost, so just under £1000.

I was lucky to get all my wedges for free, my SLDR driver for half price and have a family member in the industry to get the irons cheaper too.

Callaway XHot Driver and 3 Wood £199 (Christmas Present)
Callaway XHot Hybrid £89 (Birthday Present)
Callaway XHot Irons £149
Callaway Mack Daddy 2 £59
Odyssey Versa White Hot £79

So all in all I paid £287 (but they're worth more due to what I didn't buy myself) for my clubs. I got into golf just before my birthday and Christmas so every gift last year was golf related, clothes and shoes etc are all extra

Driver - £350
3W - Free
3H - £120
4I - £99
5-PW plus three wedges - £799
Putter - £130
Trolley plus battery - £500

I put 1,500 -> 1,699 but now realise that's massively underestimated as it didn't include the trolley, batteries, clothing, shoes etc.

Still a lot cheaper than other past hobbies.

Driver: Free (thanks GM)
3 wood: £179
3 hybrid: £70
4 Hybrid: £45
Irons: £279
52 degree: Free with irons
56 degree: £50

Putter: Free (brother-in-law gave up golf)

Total: £623

Quite a lot when I look at how many of my clubs I got for free! If I add in the clubs I have but aren't in the bag it goes up by another £220.
