How much does your pro charge, basically!

Been looking at getting lessons, and the pros around me all seem to be similar:

30 minutes £22-£25
45 Minutes up to about £30
60 minutes (in the one place that offers) is double 30 minutes, so £50 there

Video analysis seems to be extra

On course lessons about £40-50.

I only ask as until recently, these seemed the norm (given that all 3 local courses are around the same price). But then I spoke to a friend in London (that really expensive big city) who pays £30 for an hour, including video analysis.

So I thought it would be interesting to see how much everyone else pays, and whether it changes that much over the country?

And as an added extra, do you think what you pay is worth it/how much would you be willing to pay for your pro...

£28 for half an hour with video analysis if inside and also allows me to send in video by email in between.

£20 for 45 mins for me, my pro uses his ipad throughout to show me what we're working on so i can have a visual aid. £40 for an 18 hole playing lesson.

Worth every penny for me.

I booked a block of 6 half hour lessons for £100 ( they're £20 each but you get the 6th free if you book the block) but with that I have to pay for my balls which is about £4 a time.

£45 for a 45 minute lesson, pre pay for 5 get the sixth free. So that works out at £37.50 per 45 minute lesson.

If I was a member, the prices would be £10 per lesson less.

This sounds expensive compared to your other prices, but when I looked round, about 18 months ago, it was competitive for round here. Also, many clubs/pros didn't respond to my email enquiry. I think I emailed 6 local clubs via their websites, got a reply quickly from 1, and a reply about three weeks later from another.

The last pro I went to who was very knowledgeable charges £30 for an hour on the trackman. £30 for an hours lesson outside (in the sunshine) or 4 x 1 hour lessons for £100.

In the trackman lesson I also got a video analysis and some very good feedback on the numbers on the trackman.

£40 for a full hour, ipad recording during the lesson and a video sent to my email at the end of the lesson with a brief summary of the points we worked on.

The best Pro I've been to and ......... he once beat Tiger Woods in the US Amateur Matchplay - some claim to fame!

£110 for 6 30 min video lessons, if you have a short game lesson he will video on the ipad

To be fair this is about the going rate around Norwich

£230 for 6 x 30 minute lessons...yes it seems expensive (relatively) but happy to pay that for the excellent coaching received. All about value for money I guess.
