He is so thick for thinking he could win. The newspaper LET him win the original libel case because they knw they could get him sent down for the more serious charge of perjury.

It's all a bit pathetic, really. His defence seems to be based on the fact that everyone is out to get him and is lying through their teeth. A bit of a shame as he is a gifted speaker and talisman for the (extreme) left wing.
