How many clubs?

To stave off the Bank Holiday boredom, I've had a quick look at various forummers' "in the bag" info in the vain hope that I could effect a virtual DQ for excess clubs - no luck there though.
How many forummers don't carry the maximum allowable number of clubs?

If I'm allowed 14 I'll have 14 in the bag.
For me, more choice = more options.

Fairly often I will leave the driver out so only go with thirteen, but as Imurg says having more options is good

I have space for 1 more but still undecided whether to put an 18.5 degree 5 wood or an 17 degree hybrid in.

Always have the maximum, don't see the point in not really. My game is too erratic to be confident I wont need something

Have 14 now, soon to be 15 so a decision each time I play.

I have 16 options, not unheard of to get to the first tee with 15 of them in the bag, not yet got further than that though no doubt it will happen sooner or later

5-sw, 50* and a putter, about 11 clubs. Bag is heavy enough with all the spare balls I carry

Haven't got around to getting a trolley yet so I teed it up at club champs with 11 clubs in my bag to save weight and energy.

Agree entirely that you should have 14 whenever possible, I'm looking to tidy up my golf from top to bottom over the next 7-8 months and working out my bag is part of that process.

I carry 11 clubs and I reckon I would benefit form a 3w so I am looking to get one in the future.

Only carry 12 at the moment but adding my 3i back in I think.

Only 13 for me at the minute, but might as well be 12 as the 3 wood is only there for show, wouldnt dream of using it
