Knew there was a reason I didn't enter!!

lets face it Nett 70 doesn't set the world alight does it?

Well done to the winners - good shooting

Cheers Mike.

I had completely forgot about this until reading your reminder post this morning. I was going to create a post on Saturday as 'A Game Of Two Halves', as my Gross score for the front 9 was -1 (34) and 8 over for the back 9 (42).

To be honest tee to green I was fairly average but my putter (New Bettinardi) was working like a wand and I was holing them from everywhere.

Ironically, I played 9 holes yesterday morning (back 9) and registered a level par round with 14 putts!

Congrats to the winners!

I wouldn't have won anything, I played in a 4BBB and we only got 39 points, but I had a thoroughly enjoyable game on sunday. The reason it was so good?

I used my new putter and it was brilliant, didn't three putt once and holed some unusually long ones :)

I must admit, I even pumped the fist on a couple of occasions :p

And what did he shoot for the back nine -

Its not often I'll call someone a bandit but if the sombrero fits and all that Lol - only joking well done fella

You can imagine what the lads were saying to me in the clubhouse!! It's amazing what a long and straight driver does!

We have a medal on the 14th June and I am hoping I can repeat this! My confidence is sky high at the moment! Gross 79 on Saturday, 76 on Sunday and 73 on Monday.

unbeleivable scores , net 57/61

Well done Dodger lovely gross , does that get you down to 2 ?

Amazing how a gross score of 98 provokes no reaction which i got in the October Stableford, yet a Net 57/61 with 3 golf balls up for grabs and you're basically a cheat!! Don't get me wrong i've also accused others of Banitry or being a Shark, but I was very pleased to record my score on Saturday irrespective of this.

I am a little confused by this one read all posts again don't see any mention of cheating

Erm yes I was wondering where that came from , guilty conscience perhaps

Not the exact word, but the insinuation:-

"Cough Bandits cough"
"unbeleivable scores , net 57/61"
and from your good self...
"Its not often I'll call someone a bandit but if the sombrero fits and all that"

I'm not making a big thing of it as it happens every single day at every course in the land and it's all good natured fun.
