The 236 par three is the opening hole and tough to boot. The short par four is the closing hole but takes a bloody good hit up hill & over trees to get to the green in one. Most of us play it round the corner as a traditional par four.

One of the peculiarities of our place is that the longest par 3 we play is actually off of the yellow tees. Our 16th is a par 3 of the normal tees and is 193 yards long but in medal play it's actually the shortest par 4 we play at 258 yards.
