As the title says, how long have you been a member at your club ? In this day and age, are people more likely to move around from club to club based on special deals or are you a one club man ?

Only really been back playing seriously for 4 years (heading into my 5th) and in that time been a member of two clubs. I had to relocate two years ago so that is the only reason I left the first one and can't see me leaving the current one unless I have to move area again.

18 months but it's only my 2nd club - stayed at the previous one for 2 years and a great place to learn to play as it's rubbish so was always very quiet ! Not sure I'd be the sort to stay somewhere for years as I like the challenge of new courses so perhaps I'll get bored and it will feel a bit stale in time. I do love the Ladies section though as it has a core of good golfers who are also a right good laugh. Most of the other courses I've played have a very different bunch of ladies and pretty sure I wouldn't fit in quite so well.

this is my first year at killin golf club and my first year back at callander after 12 yrs.

previous to this i was a member of callander from 1996-1999 so it's my 5th year at callander.

going to be a struggle to join next year as the membership has went up to £475 but i'll manage it somehow.

Now in my seventh year at Irvine Golf Club, waited five years to get in !! Was a member of Loudoun Gowf CLub for fifteen years before that. Unlikely to move because of any special deal now.

26 years. During that time we've moved around the country a bit and I've been a member elsewhere at the same time. The pull of home has always brought us back here.

Going into my second year at Old Ranfurly and I won't be moving unless I have to move house. Decent enough track but more importantly its a real members club. Very friendly and well run.
