... get a chance of an Eagle again?!
So yesterday I played my 8th round on a full 18, just my 2nd at a members club and 1st time off the whites.
OK, so it is 280yds, downhill, SI18. But still, I managed to drive with the perfect fade required (normally a horrible slice) and it rolled about a foot wide of the hole and carried about 6ft past. Missed the putt on the left side, when 90% of my misses are right.
Worst thing is I only halved the hole and we ended up A/S in our 4BBB Fathers V Sons knock. My old man has bet me £50 I won't get one in the next 2 years now!
I think I'll be cursing that miss for a while!
