That's a nice swing, great tempo.
Looks like stack and tilt, is that what you've been working on...or does that mean nothing to you at all? :)

What feedback are you after, have you got a weak shot you're trying to fix?

To help me understand your game a little more it would be useful if you could provide me with some extra info. Please take a look at the following questions and try and answer them as honestly as you can.

Do you have regular coaching at the moment? If yes, what have you specifically been working on?
What do you consider to be the strengths of your game?
Weaknesses?
How often do you play/practise?
What is your scoring average/handicap?
Do you keep stats?
What is your strike/shot/shape pattern for the following clubs
Driver/Tee shots
Fariway woods
Rescue Clubs
Long/medium irons
Short irons

Many Thanks

I have tried the stack and tilt method, I tend to over swing at the top then sway left, the turn of my shoulders then leave my hands behind and trapped, I am working on keeping the right leg bent and not straighten at the top of the backswing then keeping the angle at the wrists pull down so my hands are in front of my chest at all times on the downswing. If I swing to hard I either pull straight left or leave the club face open for a right push.

Self taught, no coaching, I do read and watch golf instruction videos, video analysis software.
I am working on keeping my right leg stable and bent on the back swing and start of the downswing. Keeping my hands in front of my chest at the top, and letting them pull down in front of my chest on the downswing, keeping the angle at the wrists as long as possible. I have watched some videos on the double pendulum theory. I try to get inside the ball and get a draw.
My strength would be my tempo.
Weakness, legs and shoulders to active resulting in a pull or slice. Sway left at the top, leaving my hands behind.
I practise 3-4 times a week 1-2 hours, play a practise 18 holes once a week.
Handicap 12.
I don't keep stats.
Driver 240 straightish left or right
Fairway 200 right push
long/med iron draw (6 iron is my best club)
Short iron slight push right.

Thanks :)

That all sounds pretty familiar :D

When you say you've TRIED stack and tilt does that mean that you aren't doing it anymore?

This looks like a stack and tilt position to me....

I don't think I could name any other swing where your spine tilts towards the target. In conventional/right sided/rotary swings etc your spine angles AWAY from the target by up to approx 5-8°.

Ok...here's something to try at the range
Try widening your stance just an inch and then bring your knees together a fraction so you look a bit 'knock kneed'. It will make you more stable and it should stop your left hip opening too fast and causing you to block and pull it (I notice your left foot spins out onto it's heel).

If it doesn't work just forget I mentioned it <WINK>

I use stack and tilt so your position at the top looks very familiar.

The only thing I see (as an untrained eye) is there didn't seem to be any significant weight transfer. It looked like the arms were doing a lot of the work and there was no real coil to the swing. Is that as a result of stack and tilt or is it a problem you've noticed. As I say just my humble 2p's worth

Thanks for the advice, makes sense, I will give it a go, happy to be a fellow stack and tilter ! or am I just lacking the flexibility to make a full turn ?

With stack and tilt you are supposed to slide your hips to the left as much as you dare as a trigger for the downswing. It is this move that shallows out the descent of the clubhead otherwise you'd pretty much be hitting straight down on the ball. Would I recommend that you try it? Probably not. Your swing looks like it has a nice tempo so let's try not to break it :D

Stack and tilt makes my stance very narrow and if it's not braced properly my weight gets outside my left foot and I have to over rotate to avoid snapping my ankle... hence the knock knee position :)

I'd be interested to know if it helps.
