How hard/brave/stupid/heroic is this bloke?

Saw it last night. Thought he had a weird cadence as he ran but didn't realise it until the BBC flagged it later. "I didn't want to let my team down". Great ethos and hope he gets back to full fitness soon
 
It's only his fibula ;)

I can say that having finished a marathon with a broken tibia. The experience told me you can keep going with an injury but not when unwell as my only DNF was when I had a virus and simply couldn't keep running.

Edit: Not proud of it as it was bloody daft and finished me as a runner! Still...I found golf instead!
 
he's done well to finish, but he's no Bert Trautmann!!

Hmmmmm, I have a problem here. I've lost sight of some of the smileys people put in their posts & when I try to put one on my posts I just get letters and things like this eek , and this angry , which end up looking like this, sbox .
What the hell is wrong?

P.S. Words in blue have a colon back & front, but, when I put them in my post they and the words do not appear !

Not sure but there is a post about it in the Website Feedback so hope it gets fixed. Just shows though how we rely on the little faces to convey the tone of our messages!
