Really interested to see how people's tee sheets work at the weekends?

I've joined a new club around five months ago and we have a system where a sheet goes up in the clubhouse on Saturday morning two weeks beforehand. I don't play every Saturday so I then have to check in once I've figured out if I want to play. I find I go to the clubhouse more to check the notice boards than I do to actually play.

Ours is online (or you can ask the Pro staff to look for you in the shop), and opens at 5pm the Friday one week before.

We don't have pre-booked tee times, except for comps. The tee times for comps go up on the website the day before the event usually and if you want they will send a message to your phone with your own tee time and names and handicaps of your playing partners.

We have to be at the club on the Monday before the Saturday comp, to put your name in a Tombola . The draw starts at 7.30, when your name is drawn you go up and choose a time, you can also enter 1 other members name.

Don't have one. Bookings for comps/ societies/ groups only.

Amazed at some of the lengths some clubs make members go to just to secure a prime tee time

For non-comps online booking is available 7 days in advance or via a phone line. Goes live at 7.30 am so you need to set your alarm if you want a prime tee time.

For comps entry opens about 3 weeks before the comp and closes on the Wednesday prior to play. You enter (online or on a notice board sheet) a preferred 1 hr slot and the comp is drawn. Sheets go up on the Wednesday and the draw is available online and emailed round. Late entries can be accommodated by the starter if slots are available.

You also have 4 'tickets' through the year with which you can book a tee time well in advance (if say you had visitors coming from afar)

Works well for me.

No tee sheets or tee booking for general play - just turn up and play

Medals and singles comps are online via club systems

Team comps etc are on sheets on the board

No tee sheets whatsoever. Even for comps.

Just show up, queue up and go out.

Got to say I do miss having drawn comps as most people just go out in their normal groups so you don't really get to meet anyone new.

We book online ten days before the actual date. Because of the time settings, the bookings open at 11.00pm and it goes crazy especially for saturday medals. If you are even a few minutes late in logging on you might be too late and not get a tee time! :(

Online booking, or phone the pro shop. Members can book 14 days in advance, pay as you play 11 days before I think. Does seem to work, but have had a few occasions when the sheet has been virtually full. Iv turned up on the off chance, and the course is nowhere near as busy as the sheet suggests. So in general I nook about 5 days in advance if I want a particular time. Or just go up and see for myself. Never had to wait longer than about 40 minutes when iv not booked

Same as us. Tee times at weekends comps only. We did a trial/pilot over last summer of tee booking for casual play Sat and Sun mornings - in October the membership voted against continuing it and so back to a ball chute.

Booking 1 week in advance in person in the pro shop, by phone or online. Comp bookings 2 weeks in advance with online comp booking being introduced this season.

Snap! We have the exact same system. Used to be done with pen and paper on a Friday evening at 5pm then The Board bought an Internet (stop me if I'm getting too technical) and confused the hell out of our Seniors!
